Latest News from Spirit Lake

Due to the persistent efforts of the Spirit Lake Historical Preservation Commission and with vital help from the Spirit Lake Urban Renewal Agency, the City of Spirit Lake has retained the services of Northwest Vernacular, a historical preservation consulting company,  They will be creating a Historical Preservation Plan for Spirit Lake, but they need our help. To gain an understanding of how best to serve us they have created a survey. Spencer Howard, of Northwest Vernacular, wrote,  "We are definitely eager to have as wide a sampling from the public as possible." This includes everyone from Spirit Lake, the town, the lake, and its surrounding area.
