Idaho DEQ'S Update:
"Coeur d’Alene Regional Office staff responded to a possible harmful algae complaint at Spirit Lake on 6/25/2022. Results of investigation is in isolated locations there are elevated concentrations of cyanobacteria (formerly know as blue green algae). The isolated occurrences do not warrant significant public health concerns and notification of health authorities at this time. We have notified the Spirit Lake Association, and we are working with them to keep an eye on conditions, We will update the public as conditions change."
